Junan Taiso – Body Conditioning Classes

Junan Taiso is the Japanese form of body conditioning and flexibility.

Junan Taiso conditioning exercises are of much greater significance than mere “warm-ups”.

The exercises actually form a basis for healthy living by presenting an opportunity to experience the mental and physical aspects of the body in harmony.

By starting the day with a proper diet and practicing a fixed routine of preparatory exercises to gain an ability to move as smooth and elastic as possible. This is because those that are supple are also the strongest and have the best recovery capability.

By using the exercises of Junan Taiso which benefit the major joints in the body, combined with PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) improves muscle elasticity and has been shown to have a positive effect on active and passive range of motions.
